AKỤ RUO ỤLỌ: A Call for Igbos to Integrate their Wealth Back Home.
The Igbo people and their Jewish brethren share a common heritage and experiences of persecution, discrimination, and marginalization. Despite these challenges, both groups have developed resilience, adaptability, and a strong emphasis on education, family ties, and entrepreneurship. However, the Igbos can learn from the Jewish “Aliyah” (return to Israel) by embracing the concept of “Akụ Ruo Ụlọ” (wealth return home).
Major part of Igbo wealth must be ploughed back home to better the lot of Igbos and develop Aligbo . History has shown that Igbos property is safer at home than elsewhere in Nigeria, space will fail me to recount the abandoned property saga in nearby Rivers State or the destruction of Igbo property at Lagos or Abuja.
Like Nehemiah, a Jewish brother expressed his grief and concern for the state of his people and their homeland. Nehemiah 2:2-3 . Ihe banyere ndi Igbo ọgaghi emetụ gi n’ọbi ?

Let us be touched by the Ordeal of the Igbos which include: marginalization , career stagnation , human rights violations, discriminatory policies, unprecedented religious sentiments against us , economic sabotage , international neglect , high unemployment rate,
violence and insecurity every where . In short we are hard pressed on every side .
Consider this ordeal and give Igboland a helping hand.

Christian Association of Igbo Ministers (CAIM) cooperative is a good and secure platform through which one can invest in or give a helping hand to Igbos.
CAIM is a non-denominational and Non-Governmental association of God-fearing, Spirit-filled ministers of God of Igbo extraction who have the burden and passion for Ndigbo and Alaigbo.
The Akụ Ruo Ụlọ foundation can be anchored in CAIM cooperative for various purposes, such as:
1. Charitable purposes: Providing aid, support, and resources to vulnerable populations, communities, or causes.
2. Educational purposes: Establishing and supporting educational institutions, scholarships, research, and intellectual pursuits.
3. Cultural purposes: Preserving and promoting biblical cultural heritage, arts, and traditions.
4. Scientific purposes: Funding research, innovation, and scientific advancements.
5. Community development: Supporting community projects, initiatives, and programs.
CAIM touched with the ordeal of the Igbos, is organizing World Igbo Prayer Summit (WIPS) 2024, scheduled to take place in Umuahia, Abia State, from Tuesday, 13th August to Friday, 16th August 2024 at Okpara Auditorium.
